On the day of my procedure I arrived at the exact time they asked me to and they took me almost right away as I sit down. When I went back to the back with a nurse everything went well. My nurse was very professional straight to the point with a nice attitude. I had taken the two pills of 5 mg of diazepam which relaxed me very well. I think the gentleman that came to take me into the procedure room Was the technician. I was met by Dr crowl who shared with me exactly what to do I got onto the gurney face down. I could tell right away that the whole team including the x-ray technician and whoever else was in the room knew exactly what they were doing they were straight to the point which is much appreciated. Yes the needles hurt . Dr crowl put a needle in five of them L2 L3 L4 and L5. I thought things went very well and I'm hoping that the pain will subside as the days go by. I think Dr crowl and all of the staff who were so kind to me and took care of me. Thank you so much. P.S.… Dr Crowl said it could take anywhere between 72 hours and 2 weeks to get a good result. Very knowledgeable about vertebrae

I've been a long time patient with OrthoVA and have had a very good experience with several physicians. My latest appointments have been with Dr. Crowl for my upcoming back surgery. Yesterday was my second appointment with Him and I was very impressed. He explained his surgical plans in great detail, while looking at my images for a visual. He left no stone unturned. It was a lot of information to take in at one time, but I wasn't apprehensive about moving forward with the surgery and putting a date on the calendar.

Dr Crowl takes the time to explain everything to you making sure you understand. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
