Dr. Adam Joseph Garfinkle

My first visit as a new patient was with Dr.Garfinkle, and I was under the impression that I was going in for a regular cleaning. After his brief assessment of my teeth he informed me that I needed a deep cleaning and that someone would be in shortly to speak to me about pricing. He left the room and someone from the lobby came in to tell me how much it would cost for a deep cleaning ($200). I'm not sure if I truly needed the deep cleaning or not but my first impression of Dr. Garfinkle was not a good one.

Dr. Garfinkle refused a general cleaning because I refused a deep cleaning at his pratice. I asked to have a general cleaning done and would seek a second opinion but because I was new pt, he tried to persuade me into getting a deep cleaning which I know I don't need and even if that was the case. A pt should not be forced to do something they do not want to do.
