Took care of impacted kidney stones and followed through with other aspects of urology from stone formation to PSA results

Dr. Gerber is really a genius when it comes to Urology, and I've had several urologists. I can't say enough good things about him, especially if you are suffering from recurring kidney stones. He's now in a giant practice affiliated with Florida Hospital, and the place is like Grand Central Station - impersonal at best, lots of stanchions and a "now serving #800" kind of feel. He's a great Doctor and I deal with the office to see him, but don't expect a lot of TLC until you're in his hands.

When Dr is with me he spends the time to make sure I understand everything. I am much better now. His staff is wonderful too..

Best advice if your thinking to see Gerber is to go some where else. he has not stood by what he first told us treatment would be, shots, radiation, now more shots for 2 years. He does not communicate with other doctors just expects the patient to follow everything he says. Well now we are going to seek other opinion. He's joke and only in for the money. Office staff and nurses another joke. Watch insurance charges!!!!!

Doctor Gerber was a person that alerted me to my problems and took time to explain my problems and the results of having the treatment that he suggested ... I cannot say how thankful I am for all his advice and the first class treatment I received at his care, I am a person at the moment that is a happy patient and no negative side effect of the surgery. It has been almost 3 and a half years and I am as healthy as before.

I have had ongoing problems with staff returning phone calls. It as if there is a real lack of communication at his offices. I spoke with the office manager once about this, but it continues. I have to put a lot of blame on her for this situation, but nursing and Dr. Gerber should take some of that blame also. It's just not a very "tight ship."
