Dr. Adam Ryan Geronemus, MD

Adam R. Geronemus, M.D., FSIR, is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with subspecialty training in vascular interventional radiology with Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. He specializes in using minimally invasive, image-guided techniques to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including vascular disease and uterine fibroids. His clinical expertise focuses on advanced endovascular procedures that offer patients effective treatment options with shorter recovery times. Dr. Geronemus earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine after completing his undergraduate studies in biology at Indiana University. He completed a transitional internship at the University of South Florida, followed by a diagnostic radiology residency at Tampa General Hospital and H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. He went on to complete a vascular and interventional radiology fellowship at Baptist Health Miami …Cardiac & Vascular Institute. With extensive experience in both hospital-based and multidisciplinary care settings, Dr. Geronemus has treated a wide range of vascular conditions using advanced endovascular and image-guided techniques. His clinical interests include complex vascular disease, minimally invasive therapies and collaborative care models that bring together specialists across disciplines. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Geronemus is actively involved in physician education and leadership. He serves as vice chairman for education in the Department of Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and holds academic appointments at Florida International University and the University of South Florida. He has also held leadership roles within radiology governance and strategic planning organizations. Dr. Geronemus believes in delivering patient-centered care that prioritizes clear communication, thoughtful decision-making and the least invasive treatment options whenever possible. He takes time to listen to his patients, understand their concerns and goals, explain their options clearly and work collaboratively with them to determine the best path forward.
