Dr. Adam Mitchell Goldstein, MD

Dr. Goldstein has taken care of my parents over the past five years. He is kind, compassionate and an excellent doctor. He spends quality time with his patients, he will follow up with family members by phone if desired. My family is fortunate to have Dr. Goldstein take care of them.

Dr Adam M Goldstein was recommended enthusiastically to me by another kidney patient and I was not disappointed. His waiting room is lovely and the receptionist very professional. We had almost no wait before being taken into an exam room and literally no wait before an assistant came in to do the preliminaries -- BP, temp, weight etc. There was a somewhat longer wait before we saw the doctor, but when we did I knew I was in good hands. He was both calm yet thorough in his questioning, and gave me opportunity to ask questions along the way. Took me seriously, despite the fact that I have serious mental health problems, which was such a relief, given that so many doctors dismiss me on that account. His physical exam was respectful of my particular sensitivities, yet complete. And afterwards, he spoke to me both of his knowledge of what was going on and of what he did not yet know. I felt that he would be honest with me, and forthright whether the news was bad or good, which was very… important to me. In short, I felt that he was one of the most competent and yet warm and caring physicians I have yet seen, and he actually spent enough time with me without making me feel that he was in a hurry or that he was deigning to bestow special favors upon me. We had the sense that he treated each and every patient this way.
