Terrible bedside manner. He spoke down to me and was judgemental.

This was my first ever colonoscopy. At first, I was a little anxious but once the preparation started I was at ease because I was well-informed. I was given instructions that started a week prior to my procedure so I was aware of what I should and should not be doing or eating. As the days went by, I was given more instructions and videos of what to expect. I followed the instructions provided to me and was confident in what to expect. Once I completed MY part of preparation and got to my appointment, I could not have been in better hands. I was completely comfortable and it was over before I knew it. The hardest part, for me, was remembering what not to eat the week before and scheduling drinking time for the prep mix. If you're reading this prior to your appointment, rest assured, it's ot that bad. You'll be done and on your way home before you know it. Also, big thank you to the staff that helped put me at ease and truly made my visit a great one!!

My first visit was with his CNP. She was friendly enough. Had blood work done. Had to wait 2 months for a television to be told results. I can see that much of my blood work was NOT normal. So tried to do the television which I've never done before. Waited and waited and she didn't show up. I called the office and was told I'll need to reschedule....in 2 months!! So I am waiting for FOUR months to find out what is wrong with me????? Can't just phone me??? Seriously, this is definitely not right. DONE.

My experiences with Dr. Hanje is by far the Best. His Knowledge in His Field is absolutely amazing! He’s very Personable as well. He pays close attention to every word I say. I 1st started being His Patient quite a few years ago at OSU. When He left OSU I reached out to where He’s at now and asked if I could continue to be His Patient and fortunately for Me He agreed. Dr. Hanje really saved My Life as He went into detail and explained My condition in ways so I could understand and it in fact helped Me to know how to take care of Myself between visits. I would not only recommend Dr. Hanje to Anyone that has a condition that requires a Gastroenterologist but I wholeheartedly ENCOURAGE it! He’s By Far the Best in His Field!

Dr hanje was very thorough and gave us a good explanation of my condition. He showed sincere interest in my well being and had spent time before hand preparing for my appointment. Very comforting.
