Dr. Adam Andrew Hill

I had the privledge of seeing Dr. Hill in the emergency room. It was a busy night, and I waited nearly an hour and a half in the hall for an ER room. I grabbed his attention to inform him of my symptoms and concerns and he was the only doctor out of 4 that stopped and listened for 30 seconds. Not only did he acknowledge my concern but assigned himself to me and began working me up even though I had not been assigned a room. He is knowledgeable and is a doctor that doesn't just say what's wrong with you but takes the time to explain it. It was a relief that the pain I was having was not related to a life threatening emergency and the fact he wasn't concerned put me at ease. I will say that he is a young doctor with old school practice values from what I noticed. He's conservative with medication. Granted I was in a lot of pain, my first dose of pain medicine was given without hesitation and the second he explained why he preferred an oral medication versus IV. He seems to have a good… understanding of controlling symptoms without enabling drug seeking behavior. A little pain never hurt anyone, right? I was impressed with his professionalism and can see him getting negative reviews only reflecting drug seeking or not giving every patient antibiotics that don't need them (I work in the medical field, he seems to screen his patients. He doesn't leave you in pain or ignore you but if you would benefit from something long acting and less potent he will follow that path.) thank you for the great care on this busy night!
