Dr. Adam Jonathan Kaplan, MD

Doctor Adam was good and very easy to talk to, however his office wanted to charge me over a $100 for a follow up visit (the initial annual checkup visit was 2 months before that and I already paid $600 something). the follow up was a 10 min video call because they were renovating their office. I asked them twice before and after the visit if I have to pay anything they said no. then I got hit with that bill, they said I havent met the deductible. well why didnt you tell me that it will cost that much and it will go through insurance first. they also asked me to re-do blood works all over again because my tests were "irregular" and I believe i have to pay for it again. Even though I read the reviews and ppl warned about them asking for money but I fell for it. I should have asked more. pls be careful

Just the right amount of concerned without being pushy or nosey. Seems to genuinely respect people and want them to get good medical care. He even worked with me when my $$ was weird.

Dr. Kaplan was my family doctor for more than 10 years. He took care of me and my kids and I could always count on his genuine concern for our well being. I would highly recommend his services.

I found Dr. Kaplan to be very personable, making eye contact with the patient and not making the patient feel like a number. His staff is very efficient and thorough and professional. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Kaplan to others for thorough professional medical care. I don't know who posted negative comments, but they are unwarranted.

It takes a long time to find a docter you can trust and even longer if you are looking for one you can trust with your kids as well. Dr. Kaplan is that in spades. My first visit with him was 9 years ago following a car wreck and I didn't have a good doctor so I picked him out of the yellow pages.He is heaven sent. His office staff are friendly and professional. He is patient and has even given me his cell number when my family has needed after hours care. We travelled the country for a few years but requested to be transferred back to this area so that we could be near his office. I reccommend him to everyone who needs good honest healthcare. When I have to wait longer then usual I know it is because he is giving the added attention that every patient deserves. He takes time to be sure that I understand symptoms and diagnosis so that I feel confident going home. We will be in his care until he retires or we pass on.Thank you for being such a good man and a great doctor!

Long office waits. Very little feedback on test results. Answers are very short

Dr. Kaplan has done what some other doctors I've seen have not. He actually tries to get to the bottom of the issue rather than simply shuffling me off to a "specialist". while there have been occasions where I have needed to be referred, he does his best to get all the tests done prior to making such a referral.

Dr. Kaplan is my families favorite doctor. He has great bedside manner and is always helpful. whenever I don't understand a certain medical term he is always very willing to explain. Definitely would reccommend his practice!

Dr. Kaplan actually took the time to find out what was wrong with my condition and provided the proper care. I would highly recommend him!

I think the reviews show...."not every Dr. is right for every patient". I am forty-five and for the first time feel I have finally found the doctor who is right for me! I am not what every doctor would consider the ideal patient...I am shy, and require someone understanding, patient, professional, kind, dedicated, available, and willing to work together with me to support and aid in my medical/healthcare needs. I am fairly new to Texas, but truly feel I have received the best medical care ever. I came to Texas (doctor Kaplan) with "medical baggage". I could not be happier with Dr. Kaplan or his staff. I have NO medical insurance and many physicians will not even see individuals without coverage. The office staff goes above and beyond to keep me totally aware of costs, and work to keep the as low as possible. I have had to wait every time I have gone to the office, but I need to appologize to every patient who waited while Dr. Kaplan took extra time with me on every one of my visits… helping me feel comfortable and provide me with the "extra" care I needed. I have heard a "good" doctor treats the illness, but a "great" doctor treats the patient! I feel SO luck to have found a Dr. who treats the patient!!!!
