Adam Maxwell Karp, MD

Adam Karp, MD is board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology and practices as a Neurohospitalist and Vascular Neurologist at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. He is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at New York Medical College and is heavily involved in medical education. He serves as Co-Director of the Brain and Behavior course and Assistant Neurology Clerkship Director at New York Medical College as well as Associate Program Director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Karp completed his medical education at New York Medical College, where recognition included a Department of Neurology Academic Award. He has presented his work both locally and at national conferences including the American Academy of Neurology and American Neurological Association.Dr. Karp's clinical focus is on compassionate care for neurologic patients with special interest in acute management of neurologic illness.
