Dr. Adam Brian Longwater, MD

Zero respect for patients. Did not help me at all. Came in with vomiting and tears from the pain and he refused me care, instead giving me V (which I hear is his go to for patients he doesn't feel like dealing with). And then lied on his report saying he never saw me vomiting and believed my pain was insincere. He needs a reality check and his license revoked. He DOES NOT deserve to have the title of Physician. Left and came to a different hospital 2 miles away and was very well taken care of at Leigh. I dont believe it was the facility at Independence that was the problem; however, they need to made aware of their doctor's that are practicing medicine with no empathy or care towards patients.

Was sent to the er by my pcp because my EKG showed some trauma. My pcp told me to tell the doctor I needed a cat scan as well as blood work to check for heart attack enzymes. Dr longwater refused to do those tests and sent me home. The very next day I had a massive heart attack. As soon as I’m able and out of the icu at Norfolk my attorney will be contacting you. Run as far away from this joke of a doctor as you can.

Dr. Longwater seems to have something wrong with him, neurologically or mentally- I’m not sure. He seems rehearsed and if you veer away from what he has planned to say he doesn’t know what to do. His treatment plan is always something over the counter and he missed some huge negative results in my blood which two of my doctors noticed days after and were very concerned about. I can’t stand him, he’s an awful, arrogant doctor.

Dr. Longwater was quick to discover and accurately diagnose my wife's problems when she entered the emergency room on Friday evening. We found him to be courteous and extremely helpful. Many thanks, Doctor!

Could care less about you if you're not dying. No knowledge of non-emergency pre-existing conditions that may require a brief hospital visit. No compassion!
