Dr. Adam Craig Mcclellan, DDS

Had soft tissue graft procedure done. Insurance does not cover sedatives given prior to procedure. $220 for one Halcion pill (.25mg) and one Vistaril pill (50mg). Insurance states it is unnecessary. They will cover anesthesia, but not a sedative. So why are we doing sedatives? I asked for a prescription, so that I could get my own at a MUCH less expensive cost. I also asked why I have to pay for another dental exam if my next procedure is within 6 mos of the last. No response. I called 3x and left messages. Extremely disappointing follow up. When there is a problem, they don't call you back. We live in high inflationary times where everything is very expensive. Please take this thought into consideration and give your patients a prescription for the meds and follow up on phone calls. I also now have bleeding gums. The procedure was 5 months ago.

Could not have asked for a better experience. Dr. McClellan shepherded me through a challenging dental process with empathy and the heart of a teacher. He was patient, empathetic, and understanding of my concerns. His team went above and beyond to help with scheduling and insurance, as well. Would recommend to anyone hesitant about going to a Periodontist for their first time. I will be returning to him for my future periodontal needs!

I was very pleased with the service that I had. The hygienist was very helpful and gave me outstanding service.

I had a crown lengthening procedure done and Dr. McClellan took the time to explain and answer all of my questions. After the procedure I had a very minor complication and he saw me immediately in his south office. I cannot say enough about how professional and wonderful he and his staff were and how happy I am with the results. He did a perfect job and I am so happy with my smile now. I was self-conscious about my little teeth but now, I feel comfortable to smile without covering my smile. Thanks to Dr. McClellan.

I recently visited the office of Dr. Adam McClellan on the recommendation of my dentist for a consultation about a molar which has been giving me problems for quite some time. Dr. McClellan did a thorough investigation then reviewed all my options thoroughly and in understandable terms. We did the procedure of my choosing and I was very pleased with the results. I was referred to Dr. McClellan after being diagnosed with internal resorption. Basically my body was attacking my tooth and needed to be pulled. Instantly Dr. McClellan and his staff put me at ease, offered payment options (thanks Ashley) and thoroughly explained the process. I never felt any pain and my results were amazing! If you are looking to have an implant, you NEED to go see Dr McClellan!!

Still new enough he hasn't figured out his limits and capabilities. Had to move on to another, more experienced, surgeon to resolve sensitivity problems he created during gun graft.

The Doctor and staff were completely helpful with all aspects from the moment I walked in to the office. I felt well cared for and informed on the treatment needing to be done. Very happy and comforted with my dental experience and highly recommend to friends and family!
