Dr. Adam Carlton Mcdonough, MD

I have seen dozens of psychiatrists and felt like they don't seem to care what I was telling them.. Dr. Mcdonough was one of the first doctors I had met with that actually listen to me and cared about what was actually going on in my brain.. I haven't had a decent psychiatrist since.

I believe that I was seeing Dr. McDonough, as a referral from the Kernersville VA Clinic until Oct. 31, 2018. Then I moved from the area! In the time that I was seeing him, I found that he was interested in trying to get to the bottom of what was going on with me, after having been diagnosed with Bi-Polar Disorder a couple of years prior to my first visit with him. He showed interest in what was going on with me, how I was doing with the meds the had prescribed, and if there had been any out of the ordinary reactions or incidents that he should know about. That was more than a few of the doctors had asked about that I had previously seen! I liked him, and felt comfortable enough to open up and talk to him, which was important in my case, I think! Good Guy!

He is great.

Poor experience
