Dr. Adam Marsman Mcveigh

I've been a patient of Dr. McVeigh's for many years and have been nothing but happy with the care I have received from him and his staff. His treatment plans are thorough without being aggressive. He is willing to take a 'wait and see' approach before advising expensive procedures. He is professional and courteous to his patients as well as the staff assisting with the patients. I am a particularly nervous patient and he ensures I am comfortable before proceeding with any treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new dentist.

this man is unprofessional, histrionic and abusive to his patients and assistant. He is a prima-donna. He seems to be emotional stunted, sociopathic, if you will. If you work for him, I would say cut your losses and run. (It's not YOU, it's HIM)...This guy has issues and I've witnessed him being abusive to patients and staff as well.

Hello. I don't know how many people read this since there are no reviews here for this dentist. I just saw him today and he has done a few root canals for me and he has always done a great job and got the job done quickly. Much quicker than any other dentist would, but...today I waited in the chair for what seemed like forever. I feel like maybe he wasn't in the mood to do his job or something that day..it was 4:30pm on a Friday and I had actually preferred he be the one to do my root canal, a filling, and my cleaning at todays visit. I was scheduled for all of those things. He complained the whole time to his staff, which he had never done before, atleast I never heard him and he kept saying, "I'm only doing the root canal today." So, I was confused because he didn't say anything to me about it and the assistants seemed confused but they also didn't say anything about it to me, even when I asked what was going on. While he did my root canal he seemed in a hurrt and he seemed to be… getting mad and irritated at his assistant, which I find so disrespectful! I used to be a dental assistant and I could see how she must have felt...he was talking down to her, like he was better than her or like she was stupid, right in front of me, the patient. So, at the end I said, I thought you were going to do my cleaning..it was scheduled and I was told that at this appointment you were going to clean my teeth, and I said, you were the one that told me I needed to come in and have it done. He said okay I'll do it, but you really don't have much build up or plaque...im thinking, uhh ok, people are supposed to get their teeth scaled and cleaned every six months, some people closer in time. His assistant of EFDA polished my teeth before he cleaned them with an ultrasonic scaler which I hated because my teeth were so sensitive to the cold water and the metal against my teeth..he didnt care that I was seriously jumping out of my seat, I think he was mad at me for making him so his freaking job...then at the end of the appointment he said you will only need motrin for pain and i said thats not true, every time I've had a root canal from you, you have ALWAYS given me vicodin..he looked at my chart and he said well, thats true. So, he lied to me because he also said before that, we don't give anything more than motrin for root canals and im like uhhh hold up! So, he lied to a patient, he was rude to his staff who was helping him, he acted like he didn't have the time for me. Before today I would have recommended him, but not anymore...I think I'll go back to my old dentist after today. Sorry for the book.
