Dr. Adam Matthew Moss, MD

I went to see Adam Moss about my Fuch's Dystrophy and a possible cornea transplants. He came off as very arrogant and became irritated when I asked him question about his experience with corneal transplants and if he felt a DMEK was a better fit then a DSEK (two different types of transplants). I would NOT recommend him to anyone. As a cornea transplant is kind of a big deal in my mind and it has to do with my sight, I would think a person would be able to ask questions without the doctor going off and suggesting. "You can go get a different doctor if you want!" When simply asking how many transplants has he performed, and how comfortable is he doing these. I am fortunate to NOT have had him do this transplant and instead went to the Mayo in Rochester. Here I was treated with respect and understanding that I was a bit nervous about the procedure. The surgeons at the Mayo are top notch. I feel that because it took me 3 extra months to get into the Mayo he caused a lot of extra pain, as… I was getting cornea blisters on my cornea, extra money and bills for absolutely nothing, and was compromising my vision even more. If I could Give Moss a negative rating I would. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT see this so-called doctor. Do as I did, Get to the Mayo in Rochester.
