Spent the majority of the visit staring into his computer screen. Since what I wanted was a PT referral and refills on my medications, I wasn’t terribly concerned. When I explained that I needed my maintenance medication prescriptions sent to my mail order provider, he nodded while typing briskly, so I assumed all was well. The actual physical exam took less than a minute. At no point did he actually make eye contact. The next day the physical therapist he referred me to called to let me know they were out of network, and I should call my doctor for a different referral. I called them, they told me to call my insurance company and figure it out. Then I found out my scripts had been submitted to the wrong pharmacy. FIVE phone calls later, and I still don’t have my prescriptions, and nobody in the practice takes medication calls on the weekend. Nice job, guys.
