Dr. Adam Joseph Pettigrew, MD

Dr Pettigrew treated my husband at Northside hospital over the Christmas holiday. He gave him IV antibiotics for two days and released him with an oral prescription. I phoned his office and left two messages that were never returned. Our daughter drove to his office to get them to change his medication. I phoned his office and left a message that I felt he still had the infection in his leg they never returned my call but ordered an antibiotic. Three months later after seeing 5 doctors in Canton I took him to Gainesville to see his othopedist and his leg is so badly infected that he is going to have to replace his knee. Had he had the proper treatment at Christmas this never would have happened. The orthopedist in Gainesville could not believe that he was not referred to and orthopedist at Christmas when this first started. Because of the poor treatment from the infection Disease Dr. we are having to go thru all this again.

I have had tp see Dr. Pettigrew on 3 separate time spans to recover from major infections as well as one for wound care. Dr, Pettigrew and his staff do an amazing job. Their level of care and empathy for patients serves as a role model for others.

I'm thinking the other person who reviewed Dr. Pettigrew as a 1 reviewed a different doctor. I couldn't have been more happy with Dr. Adam Pettigrew. He was so nice, spent more than enough time with me. Explained everything, he was impressed how I had my x-ray report along with other labs and information. I even told my husband I wish he was my primary care doctor. He even talked to me about another issue I have going on that had nothing to do with his field. I highly recommend him! He was amazing and really knows his field!

This doctor ridicules his patients, doesn't believe them, hems and sighs the entire time you are talking to him like he does not have time. Don't waste your time with this idiot.
