Dr. Adam Michael Pourcho, DO

Dr. Pourcho was recommended by my hip osteo after I asked for an alternative to replacement. That was Aug.2016, when I was 56 years old. I'm now 59, still with all original parts. The PRP shots that Dr. Pourcho performed on my left knee and left hip worked amazingly well. I went from walking poles to 'on-my-own', including stairs, in three weeks. After 5 weeks, I was back on my mountain bike. The data wasn't there to quote how well it would work for someone my age, or how long it would last, but here I am three years later to tell ya! Just did the 28-mile gravel bike ride last week out of Cambridge, ID along the Weiser River; great ride!

Based on reviews, I expected a thoughtful evaluation but was sorely disappointed. The visit was brief and Dr Pourcho speaks very quickly. I had little opportunity to ask questions. His only recommendation was for a platelet rich plasma injection, which upon further research, I found is purely experimental for my problem with only a slightly better than 50/50 chance of success. He had no other treatment suggestions. More disturbing, when I spoke with my PCP about the visit, Dr Pourcho's notes referenced discussions and recommendations that did not take place at all during our visit. Unless you are sold on a PRP injection, this doctor is a waste of time.

Before I visited Dr Pourcho, I had seen 2 podiatrists with excellent reputations over the course of the last year for plantar facia pain. Neither doctor helped reduce my pain at all. Dr Pourcho found a tear that neither doctor had detected. I received a PRP injection from Dr Pourcho and the tear had healed by week 6. He sat down and explained all my treatment options for in detail. He wanted to know how important athletics were to my life, and set my care and treatment goals from my input. His equipment, training and knowledge are state of the art. He is intelligent and compassionate. If you are a serious athlete and want the best care, he is a great choice.

This is the best patient care experience i have ever had. He is hard working and really cares about his patients. He looks at the whole patients and give real solutions. As a professional basketball player he was able to extend my career and also help out with sports performance. His skills with PRP and Stem cells are unparalled. You know your getting the real deal. Had to wait a quick minute to get in to see him. Well worth the wait. Trust me this guy is in a league of his own. Noone is providing the cutting edge care that he is. Fixed my achilles tendon with tenex in 6 weeks . Would have taken 12 months to fix otherwise

Dr. Pourcho is the best doctor I have seen for back problems. I have been having back problems for more than 4 years now and saw more over 3 doctors and none helped me but with only one visit with Dr. Pourcho he was able to give me the proper diagnosis and was able to come up with a plan to help me manage the pain.
