Dr. Adam Joseph Ruskowski, DO

Dr. Adam Ruskowski has treated my daughters with various visits since they’ve been babies. Most recently he has facilitated covid testing now since they are attending school. I can’t think of a more caring provider for our urgent care needs. He has always keenly listened to me and seems to really care for our kiddo’s well being. He’s knowledgeable, quick, helpful, and most kind. I trust him with our healthcare needs and am thankful that he and his staff are always there to help us in those urgent situations after hours.

Extremely poor bedside manner.

I actually met Adam a few months back right outside of his local lake Underhill office in Traffic. This was immediately after he swerved in his Volkswagen with the intention of, and succeeding in, hitting me while I was on my motorcycle. He did this on purpose and when I stopped and confronted him in traffic and ask him to pull over so we can exchange insurance information he sat there with a very smug look on his face and refused to do so. If you’re looking for somebody to care for your children I would suggest looking for somebody who has a little bit less opinion of themselves and is a little bit more concerned with others than Adam.

Unfortunately today we had a life threatening choking emergency with our 21 month old child while driving. Within 10 minutes of the near-fatal emergency, we were at our local NiteLight Pediatrics to have our child assessed for concerns of throat damage or long term effects. We were seen by Dr. Ruskowski. His brash demeanor, and condescending language with regard to how we handled our emergency was so beyond aggravating in the moments when we needed professionalism and understanding, that we no longer felt comfortable continuing, left immediately, and traveled another 20 miles to Nemours hospital. I would implore Dr. Ruskowski to re-assess his approach to patient care and bedside manner moving forward.
