Dr. Sewell is the best! I've been seeing him altogether for around 15 years now for corticosteroid injections for pain and would never want to see anyone else. He is very skilled with the needle and getting the injections done in exactly the right places. In addition, I've found Dr. Sewell to be a very concerned and caring individual; he's a great listener who clearly gives a lot of thought to what the best approach is going to be in dealing with the situation the patient describes. I've found that he always takes as much time as necessary to assess the situation; dealing with Dr. Sewell is such an entirely different experience than virtually every other meeting I've had with various surgeons and other M.D.'s. His staff is also very friendly, helpful and kind--as I said, he's the best...and well worth the drive to Carrollton!

When I was told by an orthopedic doctor I needed double knee replacement I chose stem cell therapy instead. Stem cell therapy has helped me get through my days without the pain I was experiencing and enjoy the activities I was unable to because of the pain.

I have had both ACL's replaced. The first 35 years ago and the second 25 years ago. Over the years I had a few other procedures including another surgery to clean up one of the knees. Nothing worked as well as the stem cell procedure that Dr. Sewell performed. With the slow deterioration of my knees it had become uncomfortable to jog. After having the stem cell procedure last spring, I am already starting to run again. For now it has been small distances but tomorrow I will run for my new record of 5 miles. I was faced with two not very desirable options for my chronic lower back pain caused from a bulging disc and spondylolisthesis: continue RF neurotomy procedures every 6 months to burn nerves in my back for pain relief or spinal fusion surgery. My posture has improved remarkably because I'm not hunching in pain. This may be simple but I actually was able to cut my own toenails two weeks ago - which would have put me in crippling… pain previously. Four years ago I woke up 10-12 times a night with pain and a numb leg, and never imagined there could be hope for a return to health. Stem cell therapy with Dr. Sewell is one of the smartest moves I've ever made.

Dr. Sewell and his staff bring a whole different level of customer experience to the medical field. I’ve always been one who believes in staying away from the doctor unless I may be dying, not because I’m tough or immune to the common cold, but because I dread the experience of a doctors office. Sewell and his staff changed this mindset completely. The lobby wait time was non-existent, everything in the building was clean and made me feel free of germs, and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcome and feel like you aren’t in the most miserable place in the world (aka a doctors office). I hands down recommend Dr. Sewell, and I hope they continue to show others that you don’t have to neglect your health due to miserable doctor visits any longer. Thanks again doc.

Dr. Sewell is the best doctor in neuropathy. The staff was very good. They are good at what they do.

Until you become a pain patient you can not appreciate how many of us are in chronic pain on a daily basis. The good pain doctor's out there are working more hours than Normal doctors in some cases. This is why it takes so long for new patients to get in for our first consultation. They are busy caring for pain patients, just like us. Who is to say which of us is more miserable or in more pain than the next, we all need help!
