Dr. Adam Soll, MD

I saw Dr. Soll several months ago after almost a year of trying to get relief from hip & back pain with increase of symptoms. My PT person recommend him after therapy wasn't helping & I was getting worse. On my 1st visit he was very kind and did a thorough exam, asked all the pertinent questions then ordered an MRI, which had not been done. After the results he actually showed me what the MRI showed and I told him I wanted to avoid surgery if possible. After some other treatments that did not have a lasting effect he was honest to say that he did not really have any other options for me & I actually by then wanted surgery to get my life back as I had more & more difficulty just getting through each day. He referred me to the OHSU Neurosurgery clinic and I am following up with them. His kindness, empathy, responsiveness along with Greta's help, his MA, was greatly appreciated! I don't know how I would have gotten through these past several months without their help & care! I would… recommend Dr Soll to anyone who needs physical medicine to help diagnosis what is going on and then help or refer you to who may be able help you! He and his MA, Greta, are just Great and I would give them both a 5 out of 5!!

Dr. Soll is amazing. He is an excellent clinician AND has a great bedside manner that is genuine. He truly cares about his patients. He is knowledgeable & prompt. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

He would make a good trial attorney. Argued with me about my pain and symptoms! I spent a lot of time thoroughly filling out the initial forms, and writing notes so I could explain the history, progression of, and current status of my physical symptoms. For nothing! He wasn't listening and didn't care, because the "tests" didn't show that that could be happening. Clearly already had his mind made up before I walked in the door. Worse bedside manner ever!!

I was only under Dr. Soll's care for several months during a court battle with the insurance company handling my on the job injury. Under his care I felt, unvalidated, unheard and medically uncared for. He took no initiative to be involved in my case, declined my attorney's invitation to be a voice on my behalf and constantly showed more concern whether the doc visits were being paid for then my medical condition and the debilitating pain I was in. My husband and I are both relieved to not be under his care anymore. I am happy to report that I won my case and appeal, proving Dr. Soll's opinion wrong and am now receiving excellent medical treatment from a doctor who hasn't forgotten the oath he took, "First do no harm".
