I did my research for a top neurosurgeon because I had a brain tumor that had to be removed and Dr.Sonabend had the exact credentials I was looking for.When I had my first meeting with him he explained everything in detail and put my mind at ease.On the day of surgery Dr.Sonabend and his incredible team did an incredible job removing the whole tumor and thank God it was benign.There is not enough praise that I can say about him and his phenomenal team of other Dr's,nurses and the care I received while at Columbia Medical Center at NY Presbyterian They should be so proud to have a doctor like Dr.Sonabend.He truely is a miracle worker! If anyone out there is looking for a top neurosurgeon Dr.Sonabend is the one!

Dr. Sonabend is gifted and caring surgeon. His surgical skills are amazing. I required a very difficult brain stem tumor surgery. I came out of the surgery with no complications. I had a quick recovery. Dr. Sonabend spent a lot of time with me and my family both before and AFTER the surgery. He answers all questions quickly no matter how small they might seem. He followed up with me on numerous occasions after the surgery. I would trust him with any and all medical decisions.

I have a brain tumor and went to see Dr. Sonabend. He explained my condition in detail and made me and my family feel very comfortable. I trust Dr. Sonabend that he will take care of me and help me go back to a normal life after surgery.

Dr. Sonabend has great bed side manner. I highly recommend him for brain tumor patients.
