Had Mohs surgery for basal cell carcinoma on forehead. Dr. Tobias closed the wound. Seemed like he totally knew what he was doing.

I wish I had never gone to Dr Tobias for breast reconstruction. I am left scarred emotionally and physically. The outcome is so poor that subsequent doctors have been shocked when they've seen my abdomen (donor site), breasts and the damage that was done.

Dr Tobias and his staff are phenomenal! They were very attentive and proactive in finding out preferred pronouns when understanding I was a trans man. They never once Misgendered me or made me uncomfortable. Dr. Tobias is an amazing surgeon, an artist! His nurse Maria is quite possibly the one of the greatest humans on earth!! And his receptionist Jean is courteous and very attentive to anything you need answered! I would recommend Dr. Tobias and his team to anyone!!

Staff misgendering me, very rude. I asked questions and the response was to request information about me from my therapist. Overly rigid about bmi requirements and very insensitive to trans needs.

He is a good Dr, but he doesn't treat you with respect, too rough

I was compelled to express my opinion after seeing multiple negative reviews on this site that seem to be originating from a single patient.Dr. Tobias and his team took excellent care of me after my breast cancer diagnosis and I am forever indebted to them. Dr. Tobias was thorough in explaning my options for breast reconstruction, is an expert in the type of reconstruction that I had (DIEP flap), and works with an excellent staff including a wonderful, caring nurse. They were thourough in all aspects of my care, which is still ongoing, and I feel fortunate in having been referred to Dr. Tobias.

I chose Dr. Tobias to do my breast reconstruction after a bilateral mastectomy for breast cancer. He is kind and caring, always made me feel like he had plenty of time to answer my questions, address my concerns, and allay my fears. He has a fantastic bedside manner AND is a top-rate plastic surgeon. I have gotten many compliments on the appearance of my reconstructed breasts (from other doctors).

Dr. Tobias operated on my lower stomach to remove sagging skin causing me a rash. At the time I had a buckle in a mesh implant near the area which he fixed as a courtesy - I couldn't be more grateful. The buckle caused discomfort and was hideous. He was very caring and didn't give it a thought to fix this and did excellent work on my stomach as well. He's very compassionate.

After my masectomy and cancer treatment, Dr. Tobias performed the DIEP flap procedure using the skin from my abdomen for the breast. I am so happy with the results! I had every confidence in Dr. Tobias, but the results surpassed my expectations. He is an excellent surgeon, who is very skilled at what he does. More importantly, he is a compassionate and understanding doctor!

walked in with 3 people plus nurse plus my husband and had me drop my jonny, i felt very uncomfortable. He never asked me if i minded all the people. I had to have all my pictures taken with poses and I hated that.
