Dr. Addison Reede Tarr, DO

I was directed to return to the ER if I did not improve after my visit there yesterday. I felt worse, so I went back today where Dr. Addison Tarr, D.O., told me that I was wasting the ER's time and that there was nothing he could do for me. He said that he saw from my chart I was a regular percocet user (!) -- I've never used percocet- and that I had an "unusual neurological history." I got up, got dressed and left. Tomorrow I'm calling the Chief of Staff to complain. I can see from this guy's employment history that he doesn't seem to stay anywhere long.

Ordered unnecessary test on my son, running up the bill. Now owe almost 5,000.00 for unnecessary treatment

Dr. Tarr was my physician a few months ago. It was my first visit to an E.R. in years, and I was scared. He took the time to sit down and explain to me and my family what was going on. He made my visit very memorable and comforting. It is great to know there are some doctors out there who still speak fluent english and can relate to their patients.

I have gone to this hospital several times in the past and have never had a doctor who sat down with me, took time to listen, explained what he thought was wrong and treated me like a member of the family. I would highly recommend this doctor. I saw the other reviews here and cant believe the bad ones. He is the best!

Dr. Tarr didn't leave me waiting, and took every step needed to solve my medical problems. Most doctors would have quit on the first try. Instead, he saw my treatment through six different steps in order to make me feel better. His personality was very approachable. It felt great to see a physician that treated me like a person, and not a puzzle.

I was recently seen in my local ER by Mr. Tarr. The care that I received from him was unacceptable. He was rude, uncompassionate and extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr Tarr's lack of compassion and hateful demeanor really disgusted me during my time in Good Samaritan's ER. He has poor communication skills and speaks to patients & family members in a condescending manner. My encounter with him really made me re-think my visit to GSH. I wouldn't recommend this Doctor to anyone! When I asked questions about a procedure he responded with sarcasm and rude remarks. I felt that pain management & patient comfort were the LEAST of his concerns.

I went to Community hospital in Springfield, OH a couple months ago and Dr.Tarr saw my son who had a broken leg. Dr. Tarr was pleasant and talked us through exactly what he was going to do to help. I always dread dealing with the ER doctors at that hospital but Dr. Tarr was not like the others. It was the best experiene I've had at that horrible hospital!
