Try to avoid Diplomat if you have other choices. When they are late filling a prescription they will blame the delay on everybody else except themselves. My doctor has even advised that I switch my specialty pharmacy because they (the doctor's office staff) spend so much time repeatedly transmitting the same refill order. They use 5 or 6 standard excuses on a monthly basis of why they cannot fill my prescription. In the end it boils down to simple poor management, poor communication, overworked staff, and outright lies to cover their shortcomings at Diplomat Pharmacy. It's no wonder that their stock price plummeted to near zero in October and they got bought by United Health for pennies on the dollar in December. Performance hasn't improved as a result of the buyout though.

Run as fast and as far away as you can. I spent two weeks attempting to receive my cancer medication. I placed multiple phone calls and was lied to about being shipped, up u til the day that I was suppose to start my new bottle and was told that they would be unable to send me my Medication.

Initial call from company rep sets up delivery date with me for monthly medicine required for treatment; pharmacy denies delivery date could have been given "because computers"; no follow-up calls to me when pharmacist put hold on delivery because lacking doctor specification of generic/brand name. Result: no delivery of medicine when due. Extremely poor communication and training of reps.

Diplomat receipts for one monthly prescription more than $6,500 monthly, yet Diplomat staff makes refills time consuming with holds and irrelevant questions.
