Dr. Adeel Zafar, MD

Doctor Zafar is an excellent Doctor! he is highly knowledgeable and cares for his patients.

Dr. Zafar is highly knowledgeable and invested in the health of his patients. Though he can run behind, he always gives you your time. He listens and he observes. He prefers to make as few med changes as possible and he always does one at a time, most especially with anything new, for control purposes. . . just as any true scientist. I think it's important to realize that building a relationship with any provider, especially mental health and even more so psychiatrists, takes time and trust that it can happen. Of course it won't for everyone you see, but that's why there are more than just one. A psychiatrist has 20 minutes each time to get to know you and us him/her. Openness and honesty are crucial for both parties, as well as being a self advocate. Dr. Zafar emulates these characteristics and encourages them in his patients.

Why bother could care less type of doc. Accuracy sub par at best. Not much experience and attended a foreign med school.
