Dr. Adekola Olatunji Alao, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Alao for approximately 11 years. I have found that the Dr is genuinely concerned and professionally invested in my wellbeing. Dr. Alao has been efficient at diagnosing me and very effective at establishing treatment modalities that have improved my quality of life and that of my family. If your able to become a patient of Dr. Alao you should consider yourself fortunate. Work with him and genuinely participate in your treatment and you should experience some improvement in your life and how you relate to the would and people around you. Thanks for reading my review. Amazing doctor.

I’ve been very happy and pleased with my experience with this practice. They are very accommodating in making a last minute appointment for you and do not keep you waiting for a half an hour or even an hour as my previous provider did.

I waited over 40 minutes in the waiting room, my first visit, because Mr. Alao had to do things like finish with a patient (at least 25 minutes over) and go to his car, etc. He had also asked me to arrive 10 minutes early. I asked the receptionist if there was paperwork for me to fill out, there wasn't. When I ffinally got in, he seemed too busy with his smartphone to genuinely hear what I was saying. And when I spoke, his lack of response concerned me, as his eyes were glued on either his computer screen or phone. I felt unwanted there, and like he didn't care. I wanted to leave, and probably should have. Right now, there is a severe lack of psychiatrists accepting patients. He is the only one I found. This worries me as well. I am planning on finding someone else as soon as I can.

pt review dr and had questions after med student did his job after waiting months tio see him he was more interested being on phone and had student and had asked me questions againnafter student ,next meeting said something to dr about how i felt he felt and d/c his services to me.

Very bright, caring, clear dedication to the advancement of the field and has published many papers contributing to the medical and psychiatric literature.
