Dr. Adel Rasmy Tawfilis, MD

This is long, but well deserved: I came to Dr. Tawfilis after a botched surgery that needed repair for a bilateral TMJ fracture/replacement, and accompanied mandibular advancement. I worked for a large healthcare company and had access to the best of the best from whom to get decent recommendations for an orthognastic surgeon. I continued to mention his name in passing to various doctors in all kinds of specialties with whom I worked, and invariably everyone knew of him and confirmed that he is the best in the business. Dr. T. went over my extensive history with the injury and gave me all of my options and recommendations. He was able to spot and explain the problem at my very first visit. Because his treatment included orthodontia, he referred me to an amazing office that also took great care of me. He was very diligent in keeping in contact with them throughout my treatment there. Once it came time for his part of the final process, he was amazing. Any glitches that arose were of my… own doing because I'm an impatient healer, always trying too hard to speed up my recovery. Nevertheless, he was always so kind in adjusting treatment accordingly without frustration or chastisement. Even though my treatment with him ended 6+ months ago he has always been so patient to continue to answer any questions or concerns I send his way. Even at the hospital the nursing staff commented that, "He's far too nice to be a surgeon", and "a real pleasure to work with." His office staff is flawless. The manager was always on top of everything in a timely manner, which is all but unheard of in healthcare. The sweet ladies at the front are so kind and even if I had to wait they made it fun and always made me feel like I was the most important person in the room. I have since moved out of state, but if I ever needed any treatment in the future I would fly back without question, as he is the only surgeon I trust to work on my jaw. I cannot give a better recommendation for Dr. Tawfilis and his office staff. He saved my disastrous face better than I could have ever hoped for. A true professional and family man, with more care and concern than I have ever received. And that's coming from a healthcare professional myself. A 100% endorsement!
