Dr. Adenrele Adedeji Olajide, MD

I just saw Dr Olajide yesterday and he was wonderful! He was engaged, showed extreme interest in my complaints and gave me a thorough exam. I definitely felt heard and as though he cared.

I have been dealing with debilitating health problems for years that I am in desperate need of solving. I came to Dr. Adenrele seeking answers, instead I received complete dismissal. He brushed off all of my very serious issues and could care less that I live every day feeling like I’m on the brink of death. I left his office sobbing and heartbroken.

This doctor should have his license revoked. He literally told me I was fine despite being previously diagnosed & treated for my autoimmune condition. When I asked him to review my labs he had ordered with me, he said Vanderbilt’s lab had been sending false positives the past two weeks for the tests he ordered to make his diagnosis? When I asked him about the health records that I provided to him from my previous provider, he informed me he didn’t review them. Then he said he never recieved them….yet I signed a release at his office for him to obtain them directly as well as sent them to him directly, which his staff confirmed receipt. He continued to lie and say he doesn’t have them, so I called my other specialist at Vanderbilt and she was able to pull them up from his portal. I nicely asked him to please review the records and still has not. The American rheumatology foundation has a criteria for diagnosing my auto immune disease and it takes years to finally get a diagnosis, so if… he doesn’t even know the diagnostic process to rule out or diagnose a disease in his field, I think he should be fired. When I asked him to send me a record of my lab word with his interpretations of those labs, he referred me to a health summary he had done during the first visit & no lab work was done at that time. Lastly I asked him to refer me to someone else in the office, he said he could not. Now I’m hung up with my insurance company to get an appointment with a different provider because he will not provide me with my health records from his office. He truest does not care about his patients and honestly I don’t think he knows what he is doing.

After tolerating his zero personality for several years this man brought me to tears today and has never given me any type of information on my auto immune diseases. He does not go over any results with you and could care less about his patients. He’s rude, dismissive, and very unapproachable!!! I give him a ZERO. I normally do not write about a physician, but this man is atrocious. I cannot believe he’s associated with Marshall University. I tried to go back in to see him after I left to confront him and ask him to please explain things to me and his staff said he was busy. Waiting room was empty he did not want to address anything. He’s in it for the money. This is very sad people think a university doctor you will surely get answers. Beware you do not want to be treated by this man. His receptionist and the other girls were busy talking about someone and were on there phones. I’m disgusted!!!!????

Arrogant. No bedside manner. Doesnt communicate AT ALL. Rude. Doesnt seem to care about anything or any concerns the patient has. Refuses to explore options for patients. Dismisses your pain as if there was none. Ive been living with rheumatoid arthritis for 10 years now....unfortunately due to insirance reasons i had to go back and see this man, and once again, my health and pain is worse like never before. WHY IS HE A DOCTOR?!

Horrible doctor! Spent a year giving me painful exams and expensive testing, never gave results or cared for my painful psoriatic arthritis. His bedside manor is atrocious, condescending and accusatory. Thank God there are other rheumatologist, but if there weren’t, I’d live with the pain before going back to him.

Arrogant uncaring. Can not and does not communicate with the patient. Unwilling to discuss options with patients. No bedside manner. No physical examination.

When I went to Dr. Olajide he did not make eye contact with me. He also did not touch me as in he didn’t do any kind physical. If I could have given him a zero that what would be on the rating.

Dr Olajide was friendly and kind while he quickly assessed my health needs and increased the treatment to alleviate much of the chronic pain. I was feeling better and having some good days within the first three months and continue to improve after five months of the initial appointment.

He has no bedside manner to speak of much, but did seem to listen, since he treated my autoimmune disorder. I don't think he cares much and sometimes I think he thinks I'm crazy. As long as he actually treats me. I'll go. Had bad experiences with other WV Rheumatologist, in that they didn't care to treat me at all.
