I am deeply disappointed by the lack of compassion and understanding I experienced with this physician. Despite my multiple documented medical conditions—including asthma, a pending MS diagnosis, and ongoing neurological symptoms such as vertigo and limb numbness—my request for a medical excusal from jury duty was denied. These conditions significantly impact my mobility and ability to drive safely, yet my concerns were dismissed. Chronic pain, urgency, and neurological impairments make prolonged sitting and concentration difficult, if not impossible. The decision to disregard these challenges simply because I was not in visible distress at that moment demonstrates a concerning lack of attentiveness to the realities of chronic illness. Serving on a jury under these conditions would be both physically unbearable and medically irresponsible. This is the third troubling interaction I’ve had with this provider, who has consistently failed to acknowledge the severity of my health… challenges. Given my medical history, including past trauma and multiple disabling conditions, I need a physician who listens, respects my needs, and provides appropriate care. I will be seeking treatment elsewhere. Patients deserve to be heard and treated with dignity. Dismissing legitimate medical concerns not only undermines trust but also puts patients at risk.
