Dr. Adisesha Bellam Reddy, MD

This doctor has the worst people skills I have ever seen. He doesn't talk to you about your condition at all, just do a procedure and get thousands of dollars from you and never contact you again. I'm still having symptoms and don't know how long he expects me to take prescriptions. Can't ever reach him, the nurses never return your call. Horrible!

I was referred to Dr. Reddy by DCH hospital emergency room. When i showed up for my appointment things started going HORRIBLE! The staff was the most rude, vile and non caring of any people i've ever met in my entire life! I wasn't in the office 10 minutes before i was smarted off to the first time. after a few hours wait i finally saw Dr. Reddy, the coldest, non caring doctor in history! I tried to explain my symptoms and was cut off repeatedly by him talking to nurses coming in and out, i never once got to finish telling him. a few days later i had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. I was there TWO DAYS before i ever saw him! then he ordered tests for something completely unrelated to why i was even there! after that i NEVER GOT TO TALK TO HIM AGAIN!!! It was always his PA with some excuse why he wasn't available. After being in the hospital for almost 4 DAYS- i self discharged and went to Birmingham where i was diagnosed with a ruptured colon and had to have emergency… treatment and surgery. DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR OR GASTRO CARE!!! Your very life may depend on it!

After being medevaced to DCH for severe gastronomical issues Dr. Reddy did not see my father (suffering from dementia) for two days. Then he did not know why he was in the hospital. Worse of all, Dr. Reddy NEVER stepped foot in the room and actually refused to see the family (with POA) to inform us of anything. When he found out we were waiting in the room to talk to him he walked past and told the nurses his PA would do rounds that day to avoid talking to us. The only contact was via phone. Although he was in the hospital and we would wait literally days to see him, she would grant an occasional phone call to us, that is when we informed him he was trating our father for a minor issue, not the major problem for which he was admitted. DO NOT USE DR. REDDY! He has no to horrible people skills and is not a competent doctor in my opinion. When asked why do you think they medevac my father for the minor issue he was treating he did not think about that...hence the source of the problem.… After I explained the complete problem my father was then, and only then treated, and is now recovering. We begged to move him but medecare makes things difficult once they are admitted. For some reason the survey below does not work on my computer.
