Dr. Adithy Sundar Nagarajan, MD

Dr. Nagarajan’s approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and collaboration. She believes every patient has a unique story, and she strives to create a space where they feel heard and valued. She practices patient-centered care by aligning treatment with each person’s goals and priorities, using evidence-based medicine through a holistic lens. She focuses on the whole person—not just symptoms—considering relationships, culture, and overall wellbeing. Dr. Nagarajan’s goal is to empower patients through education, shared decision-making, and practical strategies, walking alongside them toward resilience, healing, and lasting growth. Dr. Nagarajan was inspired to work in mental health by her childhood exposure to holistic treatment philosophies, passion for public health, her curiosity in what drives people and her belief in the power of individual stories and respecting the inherent dignity that everyone carries. She grew up in the Midwest before moving to Austin, and has come to love …the food, culture, and opportunities for adventure there. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her daughter, husband, and large extended family. She loves to read and try out new restaurants and is always looking for recommendations.
