He has a temper and is very unprofessional.

I am so pleased with Dr. Divittorio. He really took his time with my condition and he was very thourough with me about my health. Very Pleased with this Doctor.

As a 74 year old male facing possibly serious illness for the first time in my life I was afraid, confused, and nervous about what might be ahead of me. I tried to get clear answers over the phone more than once from the nurse in his office but could not talk to him directly to get answers to my worries. It was...talk to his nurse, she in turn talks to him/he talks to her and then she talks to me. Very little information was exchanged. Worried and not able to sleep at night I called once more and told the nurse I was still unclear as to what was found on my PET Scan, and CT Scan. She ask if I felt I needed to talk with the doctor in person, I said yes. An appointment was made, I finally felt a little relieved and looked forward to meeting the Dr. Face to face. When I arrived and before I could see Dr Divittorio I was told I had to pay $25 co-pay. After some explanation on my part saying that I just want to talk to him about what he had discovered...She left, spoke to him and came back… to the desk and stated if I wanted to keep my appointment I had to pay him $25 and she relayed to me that he said I could find another physician if I wished. I left not wanted to pay this doctor $25 for something he should have already done. Namely treat me like a person.

The worst ..., he is explosive and is extremely rude and condescending. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone!

My first appointment with this Doctor was at 9:15. When I arrived at 9:00, 2 other patients arrived telling the CoVid doorkeepers that they also had 9:15 appointments. I was really worried since they had 3 people with the same time slot but I was pleasantly surprised when I got called to a room timely. I then sat in the room for over 30 minutes. Finally a nurse came in and told me he was still at the hospital and would not be in for at least 20 minutes. I asked why they did not tell me sooner he was not even at the office as I had to be at my job too and she got real short with me and told me "He had emergencies at the hospital and had to intubate patients - they could not call me and tell me not to come because they never know when an emergency will happen and he is never at the clinic until after the hospital". Obviously my first diagnostic appointment doesn't take precedence over an emergency and I have no problem with that but clearly they have major scheduling issues. Why… schedule 3 patients for a time frame that the Doctor is not even in the office. When you put me in the room at 9:20 (5 minutes after my appointment time) and the doctor was not even there - you knew I would not get seen until much later. Tell me then - not 30 more minutes. My time is valuable too. I will not be going back.

I would never recommend this Doctor to anyone,wrong diagnosis and never looked at medical records.

I've had asthma since I was 2 years old. I was always in the hospital. Dr. Divittorio has helped get my asthma and flare ups under control more than any other doctor I've seen. I was skeptical at first since I started seeing him when I was 21 and lived miserably with my asthma for so long and had lost hope that anyone could help me. Now, I've seen him for almost two years and I put complete trust and faith in him. I truly believe he cares about me as an individual paitent, he even asks about my daughter when he sees me. He explains everything very clearly and spends time making sure I understand everything completely. He is also very polite and has never made me uncomfortable. The only doctor I've seen that doesn't shove medicine into me but really tries to get my asthma and flare ups under control.
