Dr. Adrian Hernan Pelaez is a native Southern Californian who grew up in the city of West Covina with his family who immigrated from Buenos Aires, Argentina.  Dr. Pelaez attended West Covina High School after which Dr. Pelaez started his career in the dental field as a Registered Dental Assistant where he learned first-hand the importance of treating patients in a serene and comfortable environment.
Thereafter, Dr. Pelaez attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (“Cal Poly”), graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology-Medical Technology and a minor in Chemistry.  While at Cal Poly, Dr. Pelaez would meet Dr. Haris Hashimi in the Cal Poly Pre-Dental Club and they would become instant friends and soon learn that they had similar philosophies regarding patient care.
Dr. Pelaez continued his journey toward dentistry at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco (“UCSF”) Dental School where he was taught by …some of the most well regarded professors and practitioners in the dental field while living just miles from Golden Gate Park.  He further honed his dental skills at UCSF’s on site dental clinic and gave back to the community by volunteering at UCSF’s “Homeless Clinic” and La Clinica De La Raza.
Upon receiving his dental degree, Dr. Pelaez practiced at dental offices through-out the Inland Empire and Los Angeles area.  Dr. Pelaez always knew, however, that he wanted to open his own dental office, one that focused specifically on serenity, patient care and quality dentistry conducted in an environmentally friendly fashion.  Dr. Pelaez practices the “Golden Rule” of dentistry in that he treats every patient as he would want himself and/or his family members treated.
Serenity Dentistry is the collaboration between Dr. Pelaez and Dr. Hashimi, two best friends and business partners, a practice created with the specific goal of creating a serene and comfortable environment with the focus always on quality patient care.
Dr. Pelaez is happily married to an attorney with the Law Offices of the Riverside County Public Defender.  They live in the Inland Empire and have two Shih Tzus, Frodo and Chewbaca.  Dr. Pelaez enjoys movies, fishing, going to the dog park and cycling.   He is fluent in Spanish.
