The doctor diagnosed my son and prescribed medication. That's the one star. After that, he insisted on monthly 45-minute visits costing $360 each time if I wanted the prescription to continue. I expressed my concern (I'm a single mom from Bloomfield, not a socialite in Livingston) and he responded extremely condescendingly and rudely to me. "I told you before, and I meant it, I require seeing my patients at least once a month." (I wasn't questioning his intention; I had things on my mind other than his spoken list of rules from months prior.) My mom always said, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. His passive-aggressive dramatic pauses and eye rolls are very inappropriate. I told him I needed to weigh my options and he pressed me for a response before I was ready. I have been to his office four times and I have never once seen him smile. He routinely speaks to me like I'm an idiot. He is incredibly old-school in every way. Does not accept credit cards or insurance.
