Dr. Adriana Kay Holy, MD

I was charged $330 for a "new patient medical consultation" to see Dr. Holy's PA who was in-and-out in under 5 minutes and prescribed me 2 medications, one of which I told her I had a bad reaction to previously. She initially tried to scare me into 4 medications and told me my condition was severe. The entire process was very discouraging. I got a second opinion from a different dermatologist, who assured me I did not have a severe condition and did not need any prescription medication. Maybe if you are looking for cosmetic services the experience can be better than medical services.

I would NOT recommend Dr. Holy to anyone. I went to her for simple "spot removal" with liquid nitrogen. I left there with a swollen ankle where she treated me with the liquid nitrogen. It swelled up immediately and became purple in color, the size of a large purple grape. She admitted that she over-treated it. Due to her "mistake" I had to go on antibiotics and had the huge bubble on my ankle for over a month which had to be covered up with large bandages. I am left with a red ankle which I have to cover up with makeup. And that isn't the worst of it. She billed me for the followup office visits which were necessitated by her horrendous error in treatment. So now I am having to pay for problem SHE created, in addition to bearing a scar on my ankle. DO NOT go to this Doctor!

Dr. Holly took the time to explain the details of my skin condition. Took time to address additional skin issue when I was scheduled for a follow-up appointment. Gave me the lowdown on SPF and what I need to be looking for.
