If there were zero stars I'd give it. I was referred to Dr Katz by another doctor at Englewood Medical, who I have had a wonderful experience with. He cautioned me when he recommended her "she's not warm and fuzzy but very good", so I went ahead and booked an appointment. One of the WORST experiences I've ever had - with a doctor and a business. They had left me a message before my appointment (which I still have) to say they had all my medical records but when I arrived they said they did not have them. When I questioned the receptionist/nurse (not sure what she was), she insisted my other doctor told them I refused to sign a waiver - which of course was not true. Regardless, no one called to tell me that. Then Dr Katz came into the room and told me "I do not have your records. If you want an appointment anyway you can stay if not, you can leave." As I was trying to respond, she cut me off and said loudly "We are not arguing about this, if you don't like it you can leave". She… is rude and obnoxious. I don't care if what degree or awards she has - she should not be treating patients with that attitude. This should not be tolerated by Englewood and they should really consider if they want to be associated with her.

My appointment was at 9:30 am. I arrived a few minutes before only to find 7 patients ahead of me. She took me in a little after 10:00. I literally spent minutes with her as did every other patient in there. If this is the way we are heading with medical care, we are in big trouble.

she might have knowledge but she is very rude ! would not even talk to me all she said i have to listen to her .I bet she assume that since im overweight i must eat junk and do not do any exercise .Well if she will allow me to speak she wpuld know its not true! and soutch beach diet ???this is what she recomend well i haven't been eating gluten and dairy for months !

My first visit was ok waited forever but she was nice and took her time.. second visit waited forever and saw her for 3 minutes. . Called the office back for specific terminology to call my insurance and she YELLED at me!! She said I should have taken notes and she doesn't answer questions over the phone!! Then why take a phone call?? I had to repeatedly say she can't be talking to me like this before she finally stopped yelling but continued to be rude. I hung up and switched doctors immediately. . What a psycho!!

This dr makes the same apt for everyone! You sit in the office for over an hour for a 5 min appt! She nice but really not worth it, and then have something faxed to another dr, they can't even do that!!!

Having been to this doctor over a two year period, her manner got progressively worse and her aggressiveness regrading payment was out of control, even though I was a loyal cash paying patient at every visit. Does not respect or appreciate her patients.

Been with her over four years. She "knows her stuff" in a blip, refers you to helpful resources. People want a miracle to resolve their medical problems! It all centers on what you put in your mouth, the amount, and your physical activity level. She will guide you, but you got to do the work, otherwise what is the point! and Katz may get a tad frustrated at you because you are not even trying or making half hearted attempts to get better. She can only do so much for you . Her assistant Teresa is absolutely wonderful. Yes, at the times the office is very busy, like where I work, but the work gets done!!!!!!!! People upset because Katz has no fast revolving door - you are in and out fast. This is not a push button get results business.

Like most physicians, Dr. Katz has a busy office. However, the staff is accommodating and helpful. Dr. Katz is a no nonsense physician whose concern is focused on her patient's health and prevention of disease. She is quirky but in a good way and most importantly is thorough. Not everyone will like her style and personality, but that shouldn't be the reason to see a competent physician. Quick tip: Take the first appt of the morning and get to the office 45 minutes early...wait until the office opens and you should have no problem with wait time.

Save yourself time and money by going some place else. This practice is a circus starring Dr. Katz as the joker. Run!!!

An excellent doctor who takes her time to explain and educate the patient My sugar levels went down to almost normal . I lost weight and no more insulin Never had a Dr. like Ms Katz !! Im so happy.
