Dr. Adriana Denisa Neagoe, MD

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this psychiatrist. She was neglectful, often forgetting key details from previous sessions, and displayed poor time management. Her suggestions veered into pseudoscience, undermining any trust I had in her expertise. Communication was a struggle—she seemed unable to hear me, even when I was emphatic—and her responsiveness was abysmal, especially when she made medication changes while abroad and left me without support. Most alarmingly, she failed to recognize clear signs of an escalating manic episode. Instead of providing care during a critical moment, she terminated me as a client while I was in crisis. This level of incompetence and abandonment is unacceptable. She should not be practicing medicine.

We had a horrible experience with this woman. She is a terrible listener and often seems distracted and thinking about other things during a session. She struggles to make herself be understood and seems to blame it on the patient for her poor, broken english. I would highly recommend one look elsewhere. One is just asking for trouble by seeing her.

Not understanding and bad manner.

You wont find a more intuitive or helpful Doctor! I travel over an hour each way because she has helped me so much over the years. Anywhere else I tried was a waste of time, years of time.

I would never recommend Dr. Neagoe. She told my 19 year old daughter that many people with her particular diagnosis "don't make it" implying that they end their lives. What kind if doctor would say such a thing to anyone, let alone a child??

Have already recommended her to others. Much more thorough than anyone else I've see. Very personable. Knows her meds well.

This is a doctor with a soul. She speaks English with a strong accent and she told me that she hates it. I liked her respect for me as a patient and her modesty. I thinks she speaks very well English and also think that she knows medications like her own pocket. She asked me if I can hear my own thoughts like a someone else's voice, for not offending me with that "Do you hear voices?" that all other psychiatrists in the past had asked me. When it came for the treatment decision she told me that we are both a team, and that my opinion counts.She explained me in detail how all the medicines I am on work, instead of giving me a prescription in 5 minutes between "hi" and "bye" like most of her colleagues do.I think she is the best doctor I've ever had.
