Dr. Adrianne Mallen, MD, brings a unique perspective to gynecologic oncology care, drawing on her background as a lifelong soccer player and team captain. Dr. Mallen believes in offering not just medical expertise but also words of encouragement and sometimes a dose of tough love when needed. Board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota, Dr. Mallen's career is grounded in a foundation of comprehensive education and training. She completed her medical degree at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, followed by her residency in Gynecology and …Obstetrics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Mallen further specialized in Gynecologic Oncology through a fellowship at the University of South Florida/Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Her areas of expertise include complex pelvic surgery, management of high-risk genetic mutation carriers, senior oncology, clinical trials, health outcomes research, disparities in gynecologic cancer care, and robotic surgery. Passionate about advocacy for women’s health, she combines her professional dedication with personal interests in reading, writing, and informal event planning, alongside cherished family time with her husband, two children, and therapy dog, Hugo. Together, they enjoy traveling, attending local sporting events, and exploring the scenic Minnesota lakes.
