I had extreme pain in low back abdomen and groin area my husband took me to er dr entered room grabbed clipboard out of husbands hand and said "where is my chair" referring to drs round chair on rollers she did not introduce herself and ask me why I was there. I do have chronic pain from an accident I was in4 years ago and take pain medicine , I was attempting to let her know that because it is required when u are on a naracotic for chronic pain u must inform any dr u see however she did not allow me to finish and said to me "are u going to tell me why ur here or not? The visit went down hill from there she did order X-ray and they showed calcifications in kidney so she ordered cat scan to see if I had kidney stones , that came back showing calcification on my pancreas she informed there was nothing wring with me and I had wasted her time and had taken her away from patients that really needed her, by this time I was crying and in so much pain I ask her if I could leave since there… was nothing she could do she accused me of misusing the er and drug seeking she threatened to flag my name so if I ever had to visit er again it would be flagged that I have chronic pain and just seeking drugs there was so much more unprofessional behavior on her part during visit and not to mention I was livid and hurting so bad I told her I did not appreciate her acquzations of me and informed her I would report her in which I did . The medical director of emergency department was very apologetic and showed great concern however did say he had never had a complaint in her before I told him I would gladly send him the reviews and complaints I found which consisted of 20 out of 20 all complaining of her rudeness her undermining the seriousness of patients complaints including one patient that had very serious illness that required surgery. I could go on and on however I will leave you with this if u ever are unfortunate enough to have to go to er at saint Mary's hospital in tucson Arizona and she happens to be your dr request to see a different DR she had only been a DR for a few years and there is question if maybe she didn't choose the wrong career.
