Dr. Aeumuro Gashaw Lake, MD

Dr. Lake recently closed her practice without notifying patients. Has a very archaic portal that is very difficult to access chart note’s & records. Very unprofessional.

Dr. Lake seemed intelligent but as time went on she did not treat my disease. Eventually, she ordered an ultrasound and did not review the images. There was a baby in there and she didn't take the care or time to review the tests.

I saw Dr. Lake a few times for a pelvic floor/fecal incontinence issue. Though I was somewhat embarrassed about my issue she was very calming and made me feel comfortable during my visits. She is on top of the research, listens to the patient & communicates well. She was thorough in obtaining patient history & in my exam. We discussed my options & was supportive in my decision not to have surgery & continue with physical therapy. I highly recommend Dr. Lake.

Dr. Lake was quick to medicate my situation/suggest surgery opposed to listening to my story. I have dealt with Vulvodynia for over 5 years and I have seen many of doctors. I found her behavior brash and not comforting, I will be seeking a different doctor.

She's just what I wanted for my specific medical/surgical needs: brilliant, thoughtful, and effective. And she has a great support medical team!
