Dr. Afaf Ezzat Iskander

Went in today because I had a crown that needed to be re-cemented. I had it put in here at Dr. Askanders office. It has been in just over a year and has already fallen out. I have another crown that has been in over 12 years. I was not happy about it lasting such a short amount of time but when I called in the person on the phone advised they would take care of it under their warranty and not to worry about it. I made an appointment for today at 8:30am and arrived 15 minutes early. The receptionist checked. I waited until 8:50 and the receptionist said she was waiting to get approval from the insurance. I advised her I called in and was told this would take no longer then 10 minutes and I would not be charged because of the time it had fallen out of. She said the person on the phone did not know the procedure and someone needed to pay for it wither that be my insurance or myself. They told me what I wanted to hear to come in and did a bait and switch on top of the poor… workmanship on the crown. Stay away if you want to work with a reputable dentist.
