Dr. Afif George Elias, MD

Good dr an hood npi but staff not good. Very rude when calling in an going to appointments.

Dr. Elias is very disrespectful. When I asked him "Is tonsilitus a virus", he looked at me and said "Oh My God" in front of the entire staff. Soposively he answered this question 3 times? When in reality, the only thing he assured me of, is that I don't have strep throat. He did not say anything about tonsilitus. I told him I want to be medicated so that I'm not contagious when I'm with my daughter. He became frustrated as to why I would like some antibiotics for my tonsillitis, and claimed that he answered this question 3 times already? What? He is highly arrogant and I would not recommend him. He doesn't take the time to listen to the patient. He quickly makes assumptions and jumps to conclusions. He must be under the impression that doctors' analysis of patients are infallible, and will not consider any other perspective. Afif Elias is a highly disrespectful person. He is rude, disrespectful, and too incompetent to answer a simple question without getting emotionally… involved. I've been a patient for over 6 years.

I would recommend Dr. Elias to friends and family.

Office staff poorly rated due to not calling in perscriptions. I waited a week for a fax to Walmart, this is day 8 still waiting. So if you have a loved one waiting for high blood pressure medication don't see this doctor, staff is not capable of folowing through
