Dr. Afshin S Gerayli

Verbally abusive ,angry,told me not to talk or ask questions. When I handed him a CD disk of my back ( just an X-ray) all he said was I have scoliosis,then he threw the disk at me. ( I was close enough to him ,he could have handed it to me. I was not allowed to speak or ask questions. He said nothing was going to jeopardize his insurance. I was very polite,just had some questions.He treated me like someone who wanted to get drugs. I started to give him my history ,how many surgeries,that I was a sober alcoholic for 35 years. I never took the medicine he put me on . No answers. I shook all over ,cried. I will never go back to him.No one deserves to be treated like that way.

I have had several back surgeries and other doctors have only put me on pain killers which I am now addicted to. I see a reviewer stating that Dr. Gerayli treated her badly because she has CalOptima. I also have CalOptima and I can tell you that no doctor has ever spent as much time with me as Dr. Gerayli has. If it weren't for his treatments and care, I would still be on a huge amount of pain meds AND in a lot of pain. Not only he has helped my pain tremendously, he has helped me cut down on my meds in half. I feel better in my body and in my head. There are a lot of people out there seeking stuff from good doctors in the community and when they don't get what they want, they bad mouth the doctors. It is pathetic! I wish more happy patients like me would post reviews to help these great docs AND help those patients who are looking for honest, caring and competent doctors in the community. I visited for my pain due to cancer and other kinds of pain, I told him that I’m not a drug seeker. At the end he started to argue with me like he is a cop or a judge, finally said he has no time for me. Gave me sleeping meds. Really? Sleeping meds for my problem? Even if I die with pain I won’t see him. Good luck to rest of you ?? bedside manner 0

Staff is great. Doctor is professional with a good sense of humor. I would recommend him to anyone. this is one smart doctor!

Dr Gerayli is a caring and supportive doctor I highly recommend. If you are at the end of your rope or just starting on your pain management search, Dr. Gerayli is where you will find a man who genuinely cares about you and has the experience to treat your pain. He has given me back a life I never thought I would have again.
