Dr. Agatha Nkechi Nwizu

Unprofessional and office was unclean. Very long wait time. I waited almost two hours to be seen.

Worst dental experience of my life. 3 appts to get one tooth surgically extracted. The (Conyers) office staff did not submit the prior approval with the insurance like they said they did. After the 2nd appt, 3 weeks after the first, I called ins. to inquire why approval was taking so long and was advised that they never rec'd a request. Dr. Nwizu is rough, unsympathetic, and horrible. She kept watching the TV (Judge Joe Brown show) while extracting my tooth. I asked her for my tooth and she got mad at me when I asked her to explain why I couldn't have it. [FYI: per OSHA, CDC, and ADA, it is not against the law to return extracted teeth to patients. They are treated as bio-hazardous material only if they remain in the office and NOT returned to patients b/c of the tissue.] She slammed the tools down and stopped working on me - no stitches, no explanation, no communication, nothing. She pushed me out of the room b/c I was confused from the anesthesia and wanted to call someone to… help me. I still don't know what her problem was... I was crying and confused and shaking. I had to ask the receptionist for the antibiotic Rx I was told she would give me after the procedure. What kind of doctor just quits mid-procedure on a patient? Lee in the front and her asst are nice, but Dr. Nwizu is terrible and unprofessional. My advice: go anywhere else.
