Dr. Aghaegbulam Harachi Uga, MD

If I could give this Doctor less that one star I would. I would first start of by saying the way Dr. Uga treated me, no-one deserves to be treated that way. I was sent to his office as I am a Veteran and being evaluated for PTSD, anxiety and depression. I am horrified by the way this Dr treated not only a person but a Vet. We go to him for subjects that are very sensitive in nature often having to disclose things we haven't talked with anyone about. We go there to entrust in him and the care and recommendations he gives. This day the office changed my appt time and location with no notice. I waited over an hour in the waiting room. When I did get to the office he made calls to UPS, he checked his phone and watch several times and even got up to see another patient. I was in disbelief and I left the office in tears. I had sat with him in his office over an hour without any evaluation of my concerns. Absolutely a fail and do not recommend him.

Dr. Uga consistently goes above and beyond for his patients. When I came to see Dr. Uga, I was at my lowest and did not want to deal with life anymore. Dr. Uga educated me about my mental health status and involved me in the treatment process. He was very easy to talk to and supported me with unconditional positive regard. My treatment consisted of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), not to be confused with Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), because they are night and day. TMS did not hurt or have negative side effects and within 2-3 weeks I started to feel different. By the end of the treatment I could not believe that my symptoms of depression had subsided. I still take medication, but it is a much lower dose than ever. Now I have the will and energy to continue working on myself. I honestly owe my life to Dr. Uga. He has treated me like the human being that I am, with kindness and respect. I highly recommend Dr. Uga.

Dr. Uga has been helping me at the sleep center. He has moved and I have been trying to locate him. I am pleased he is also Internal Medicine, that I did not know

He is exceptional, Reviews multiple medical systems and is able to relate through his experiences and get you on the right tract. He will not only work internal medicine, but psych and sleep apnea (OSA) and medication review so that you are on the best combination of medicines!! I'm glad I found him. He'd be a great first choice doctor!! if you'd like a second opinion he'd make a wonderful 2nd opinion!!
