Dr. Agnes Montz, MD

It’s crazy to read these comments. I started seeing Dr Montz earlier this year.I was referred from Dr. Vivian Pacolt (who I also adore) and I’ve been in the office several times now. It’s crazy to read all these awful reviews about her because each of my office visits were great! She listened to my concerns and explained my condition to me thoroughly. The office is clean and her bed side manner is welcoming and calm. I have expressed to Dr. Montz my past drug abuse history and she showed empathy and didn’t make me feel “anything less of” she and her nurse in office are very kind to me. I recommend her to my family and will continue to be under her care.

Extremely rude person, not only with me but with everyone around her. That is all I can say about my experience with Dr. Montz, maybe she was kind with you but not with me. She was in a bad mood but that is no excuse to treat people around you like trash.

Dr told me I had to pay upfront for my apt. Mind you I have the best PPO plan. I told her I’ve never had to pay upfront. Co-pay yes, out of provider services I could understand but she is in their provider circle. I was livid left. Called the PPO provider and my instinct was correct. She lied. Just wanted $195 upfront. A joke. She was rude and totally this was shady and unprofessional

a minute ago I made appointment weeks ago. I have a Blue Cross PPO. For over 2 1/2 years, I have gone to doctors wherever and for whatever specialty I want with absolutely no issues. This doctor is on the PPO provider list. I asked to get a pre-authorization if they need to, with the Pandemic BEFORE I GET THERE. After filing out all the forms required that took 20 minutes, I was called to the window, and told I would have to pay a $195 for the apt up front!!! I proceeded to explain that a co-pay yes, but $195? The doctor sitting there is now telling me “how she’s been in business for 37 years” and if I don’t want to stay I can leave. I calmly stated that something is not right and left. I called the BCBS office, and reported her for being shady and unprofessional. I was indeed covered I was told by the customer service department, and in no way should have been made to pay up front. Waste of my time, and her office building is right there by the emergency room. I’m sure a corona virus… hot spot, and not an ideal office location during this time. All around awful experience. If I could give her “0” I would. I’ve never had the argue with the doctor that was to look up my vagina, tell me I had to pay for her services up front! A joke, with a first class PPO plan. I never write reviews, but the public needs to know what happened. I also have a serious underlying health issue, as well as, an elderly mom, but I needed to see a gynecologist it was urgent. They put my health at risk going there to boot! Now, I know why this doctor only has “1” reviews. She was not cordial and honest. Shady.

I have been a patient for 10+ years. Dr Montz is knowledgeable, efficient, and caring. I will continue to be her patient-for 10 more years.

Jessica in the front is excellent! Dr. Montz very detailed and spent great amount time at the bedside.

I was "Ok" with my first visit with Dr. Montz for my PAP.....but it has been over a month and have not heard of the results as of yet. I wasn't going to write a review in this regard; it was the way I was treated on the phone by one of her office staff this morning that will force me to choose another doctor for the future. "Treat people like YOU would like to be treated". She drove a patient away in a 3 minute phone call. And it had to do with insurance paperwork....foolish.

I was concerned about making appointment because of the reviews that I had read but I went anyway and was pleasantly surprised. This daff was very helpful and pleasant, The doctor was very helpful and knowledgeable and very thorough would recommend her again to my family and friends.
