Dr. Ahmad Zeeshan, MD

Dr. Ahmad Zeeshan is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon and has expertise in performing an array of procedures, including open heart surgery, including heart and lung transplantation, aortic surgery, minimally invasive heart valve surgery, mitral valve procedures, aortic valve surgery and bloodless cardiac surgery.

EDUCATION/TRAINING    

After completing medical school, Dr. Zeeshan trained in general surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maryland. Then, Dr. Zeeshan completed a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at Yale University. He received specialized training in aortic surgery, including endovascular techniques, heart and lung transplantation and mechanical circulatory support surgery at Cleveland Clinic Ohio.

Upon completion of his advanced training, Dr. Zeeshan joined …the staff as a cardiovascular surgeon holding a joint clinical appointment at Cleveland Clinic Ohio and Florida prior to joining Advent Health.
