My son originally saw another neurologist in the office, but after being hospitalized twice and having Dr. Abdelmoity happen to be the on-call ped. neuro. both times, we switched our care to him. My husband is a pharmacist and was instantly impressed with his knowledge of medications and he was in complete agreement with his dosing suggestions. In the office, we spent at least 30 minutes with him and he took the time to answer all of our questions and concerns. Very impressed with this physician!

Dr. Abdelmoity took the time to consider all my daughter's symptoms so he could accurately view the big picture. He then took time to educate us on the possible diagnoses and what they could mean as far as treatment. I would definitely recommend him to other parents.

This is the worst doctor I have ever taken my child to. The front office staff is very kind with an exception to the EEG technician who seems to not care at all about a sleep deprived, irritable child.. In my opinion, any doctor can diagnose a problem and prescribe medicine. He has no bedside manner, no compassion, he never once answered any of my questions, and only spends the very least amount of time possible with us. I drove an hour and a half for over a year to see this doctor because i was scared to try and find another one, now that I have found another neurologist who has actually described to me in detail what is wrong with my daughter, what we can do, answers all my questions, spends ample time with us, and runs tests that Dr. Abdelmoity never ran.. I will never go back to this Doctor. Please be aware that there are too many Pediatric Neurologists out there to waste your time on this one!

I took my son to many pediatic neurologists around the country they kept giving me the wrong diagnosis, and starting him on the wrong medicine, I saw Dr. Abdelmoity, and he knew the right diagnosis right away, ordered the confirmatory test which confirmed the diagnosis, started medicine and my son is 100% BETTER. Thank you Dr. Abdelmoity for giving me my son back
