Was quite good when first started going. Then started opening his own pain centers all over. You get bounced from doc to doc to inexperienced nurses, who lie to you and then scream at you when you catch them out in their lies. No clue that pain management is a pro-active partnering with patients - not a rules & general formulas practice. Lectured patient for NOT taking controlling opiods on days felt could go without. TOTALLY missed that’s ideal pain patient behavior. More interested in forcing the patient to point of blackmailing to get needed meds with threatened dropping as a patient. DON’T BOTHER WITH THESE PEOPLE. It’s strictly PROFIT - not patients.

I think the doctor is great but I agree with the other lady about they act like they don't know what you are on or have taken in the past. i like to see a doctor with my chart in his hands

I visited this Dr. one time. I got my pain meds and set my appointment for my epidural spinal injection. I noticed I was at the end of my medication and it was Friday so I didn't want to get stuck with nothing over the weekend. I called and they told me Dr. Ghaleb is on vacation and there is nothing they could do. So here I am 8 days later with no pain relief. If you value your healthcare avoid at all costs!

First couple of viaits were awesome. Then if I didn't check the prescriptions there were things not right like the right meds and dates. Almost every single visit the nurse had to go back and get things changed to what it was supposed to be. He was in and out quick. Too quick. Put me on a pain med then took me off. Then kept lowering my meds. I have had worse pain under his care. What happened????? Changing pain dr's.

On my first visit I was not impressed and I thought crap another doctor like I have seen in the past. On my second visit he did an injection and changed my medicine. I have never had a doctor hit the nerves in my back like he did. I am still getting relief from it. The medicine he put me on works great as well. This is the best pain Mgt doctor I have ever seen!!!!!!

Dr. Ghaleb didn't like the fact that I was a young female and he made that very clear from day 1. He would get angry when the experimental meds he tried on me didn't work. After 2 years of doing everything he asked, I had a previous medication in my system that he no longer prescribed me so he refused to give me anymore medication. I had my been on strong opioid meds for 4 years at this time and went through horrible withdrawals and he didn't care. He wouldn't even see me at my visit, he had his nurse decline my refills. I am a stay at home mom and had to go without any medication all because I took a medicine HE prescribed me previously because I was in pain one night and took it. My PCP was disgusted at his behavior and I was too. He could've given me a warning, a black mark, but instead he just cut me off my meds. Very unprofessional!

Doctor Ghaleb is the best doctor I have ever had. He cares about his patient. If you have to wait a while it's because he's good at what he does and he's smart. He can pretty much tell right a way what's wrong and what to do. If Dr. Ghaleb is concerned about the meds people are taking it's because so many people are addicted to pain pills. He's doing what some other doctors should be doing. Just giving out pain pills is very dangerous. I respect him for that. Also, there are a lot of people using pain pills to sell on the streets. Dr. Ghaleb has saved my life. I would be bed ridden now if it weren't for him. He's conservative and doesn't recommend surgery unless there is nothing left and you get so bad that he can no longer help. To some degree, people need to help themselves, too. Back therapy and weight loss can really help.
