Dr. Ahmed Unisa Jamaluddin, MD

I visited her last years. I had flu symptoms. I end up waiting 3 hours after. They don't have any etiquette. She suggested 4 different test. I said no to 2 test still she took 2 test. I was just looking for Tamiflu. She prescribed the same medicine after 2 test. She charged my insurance $800. She is misusing insurance. I paid $300 out of pocket. One of the worst doctor, I have ever met. I was fine next day after taking TamiFlu. I will suggest to think 100 times before visit her. They are Fraud.

She came into walmart pharmacy writing a prescription for herself and cursed out pharmacist and told her that she needs to be crushed between two 18 wheeler. What kind of doctor behaves this way in the public? She’s extremely hostile and I would never recommend her to anybody who I care for.

Never ever have I met the Doctor. Always seen by NP and even then it takes 2-3hrs to be seen even with the appointment.

I will not recommend this doctor to any one. I took my mom there and she was nearly 75 years old. Even though there was just one patient waiting before us but we were looked nearly after an hour. The room was not even clean, no foot step to sit on it. I had to lift my mom up to sit there. No sheet or paper on the bed. We had to sit for another hour then i stepped out to see if they even know we are inside . Then they say that the doctor is coming, later a girl came to do ECG, after that a lady came to take history. Then she left us in the room and later came and told us to go and take an appointment for stress test. When I asked that where is the doctor? Then she said that she is in her room. She took us there and we were taken to the same reception room where the doctor was sitting. The doctor came and talked to my mom while standing. She didn't even bother that she is standing with the help of a stick so at least give her a chair. During the conversation she was continuously talking… to the staff in the office giving instruction for the next day and my mom had too repeat the sentences again and again. When I asked about the prescription so she didn't even know what my mom is taking even though the nurse already entered in the computer before. She was just worried about our next visit of stress test to make money. It was all really disgusting. And she was even asking that do we really need the medicine? When we came out of the clinic then I realized that she didn't even tell us about the ECG which the girl took. I skip so many things but please please do not go to this doctor.

I had gone for an annual/routine physical to Dr. Jamaluddin (in-network) as she also practices internal medicine along with cardiology. To my surprise, they billed me for "office visit for chest pains" instead of annual physical. She also did not provide proper lab work codes to my in-network diagnostic center and they too billed me for "medical condition" lab work instead of annual physical. I had clearly specified before my visit and during my visit that I was there for "annual physical". As she is a cardiologist, she wanted to make more money by describing my visit being that of "chest pain". In spite of calling her and visiting her office so many times to correct and re-process my claim, there was no action taken. Her manager will not talk and if at all he talks, he will try to evade the situation by saying that claim re-process will be done. Her office staff is not at all courteous. Whatever good reviews u all see here are written by her own people I guess. Dr. Jamaluddin did have… complaints filed against her in Texas Medical Board and actions were also taken against her, which I did not know before. She also never calls once your lab results are out.Plz beware of going to her. Read reviews and her history in Texas Medical Board website. I have never seen such an unethical practice by any doctors before.

She is very good professionaly.

I waited for more than an hour everytime I had an appointment. Staff would take a long time to locate my file! After any tests, the doctor never called me to give me the results, I agree with the other reviewer who said she had to call for them to give you results, it has taken several months since the last one and I have given up, I will never get these. Terrible follow-up service!!!!!!I am looking for another doctor who is professional because ultimately it is my health that is being affected.

WAITED 5 HOURS. STAFF HAD TATTOOS EVERYWHERE. STAFF SPOKE SPANISH IN FRONT OF ME. NOT COURTEOUS. DOCTOR SPENT 4 MINUTES TOPS IN THE ROOM WITH ME. NEVER GOT MY RESULTS AND IVE CALLED SEVERAL TIMES. I SPEND VERY LONG ON HOLD. THEN SHE SUGGESTED I GET AN MRI OF MY SINUSES BECAUSE I WENT IN WITH THE SNIFFLES. HORRIBLE PLACE.
